Welcome Back, Bucs! A Fresh Start for an Unforgettable Year!

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

I hope this message finds you well and filled with anticipation for the upcoming school year. It is with great excitement and humility that I write to introduce myself as the new Principal of Buckhannon-Upshur High School.

First and foremost, I want to express my deep gratitude for the warm welcome I have received from the school community thus far, including our dedicated staff, parents, students, and esteemed community members. Your kindness and support have already made me feel at home, and I am eager to collaborate with each of you to push our students to achieve excellence.

As we embark on this journey together, my vision for our school is rooted in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe in the power of education to transform lives, and it is my commitment to ensure that every student receives the support they need to reach their fullest potential.

To our dedicated staff, I recognize and appreciate your hard work and dedication to our students. Your passion for education is the foundation of our school's success, and I look forward to working alongside you to create innovative learning experiences that inspire our students to become lifelong learners.

To our parents and guardians, your partnership is invaluable. I encourage you to stay involved in your child's education and to reach out to me or our administrative team with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

To our students, I am excited to get to know each and every one of you. Your energy, creativity, and enthusiasm are what make our school community vibrant and special. I am here to support you in your academic journey and to help you discover and pursue your passions.

And to our community members, whether you are local leaders, businesses, volunteers, or supporters, your involvement in our school is crucial. Your contributions enhance the educational experience for our students and strengthen our ties with the broader community. I look forward to partnering with you to create opportunities that benefit all members of our school community.

In closing, I am honored to serve as your Principal and am committed to fostering a school environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to succeed. I look forward to a productive and rewarding school year ahead.
